Corporate Social Responsibility
Sustainability and social responsibility are incredibly important to us, and sit at the forefront of everything we do. From the products we sell to our business ethos, we work hard to make sure we’re treating the planet, our customers, our partners and our employees with respect.
Our Environmental Commitment
Here at Muffle, we are committed to making the world a better, quieter place, and securing our planet for future generations is an important part of that.
We aim to source products that are sustainable, which is why many of our polyester panels use recycled and recyclable materials, we’ve introduced natural products like wool, and we’re working hard to bring sustainable timber to the acoustic market.
To help offset some of the carbon dioxide produced by shipping, we also have our very own tree planting scheme.
From your donations, we will plant trees on your behalf in our Muffle Woodland, located in Scotland. An oak tree can absorb more than 1 tonne of CO2 in its lifetime, which is the equivalent of 3500 miles of driving in the average car! Health and Wellbeing at Heart
Providing solutions that improve health and wellbeing is what good acoustics is all about.
Unwanted sound can induce headache and fatigue, increase heart rate and blood pressure, encourage irritability and more.
It is our goal to make a positive impact on our customers’ lives. Whether they’re buying products for a full office fit out, or a small addition to their home, we have expert advisors available who know how important wellbeing is.
Health and Safety
As we work closely with partners and customers in the construction sector, we know just how important health and safety is.
With this in mind, we have taken our first steps to becoming ISO 9001, 45001 and 14001 accredited.
Achieving these necessary qualifications is incredibly important to us - it shows that we are serious and committed to the core values of our business.
Giving Back to the Community
Although we supply products all over the world, our headquarters are in Wakefield, UK. With many of our team members living locally, we work hard to support our community in whatever way we can. From Christmas jumper days, food collections and our charity partnerships, we strive to give back and have a positive impact on our community.
Each year, we choose several charities that are close to our team’s hearts to support. Our main partner for 2021 is Team Evan. Team Evan are an incredible group who turned the tragedy of losing a valued member of the community into a way to help local sporting groups as well as those are who ill, disabled, or disadvantaged. Through various events, we have helped Team Evan to raise money to support organisations such as Cash for Kids and The Wakefield Street Kitchen.
